A & I have known each other since she was born, which was the day after me. We were born in the same hospital! So, outside of family, she is probably the person I’ve known the longest. Haha! It is so funny to think of it that way. :)
Until this photo shoot, I never really thought of myself as a visual person. That is weird for a photographer to say right? I don’t know why, but it finally dawned on me how much I rely on what I see verses any other sense. Being a visual person really comes in handy when you are standing in the road photographing a bride-to-be while using your peripherals to check for traffic… which more than likely happened today… ;)
After this shoot, I had 891 photos. Just imagine how many I’m going to have after her September 12th wedding! :) I can’t wait to show you more from her bridal session, but here’s a little preview of our fun session this morning.
Ring shots:

Plus a shoe shot:

Initial of her future last name!

I’m so glad A let me post this one:

Yes, this was a bridal session, not a trash the dress session. No, this was not my idea. A did not get her dress wet, but we captured fun bridal portraits when she decided to do this:

Happy Sunday! :)

I met Lizzy through my college roommate Ashley. They went to nursing school together and are now nurses! :) I am not sure who mentioned a Trash The Dress session first, but somehow, last fall, Lizzy and I began discussing one. We wanted warmer weather so we met up on June 1st for the session. (Seriously, has it been that long ago?!) I loved this photo shoot. I wasn’t worried about getting the dress dirty, because, well, that was the point. And it was so nice to catch up with Lizzy since she graduated last fall. While editing the photos, I found images that I didn’t even remember taking! It was like a surprise every time I discovered a “forgotten” image. I like when that happens. :) I’m very thankful to Lizzy for being such a willing participate.
Since this is a late night post, I’m just going to show you the images. I love all of them, and I’m tired, so I’m not going to comment like I usually do. (It’s almost midnight!) But, I wanted to post these before bedtime. :) I’ll post more tomorrow on Facebook.
Lizzy, thanks for being awesome! I’m so happy with how these turned out. You’re a great model!
