I photographed this wedding at the end of May at the James E. Bruce Convention Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. This venue is great for brides who want an all-in-one venue with great locations for photographs. When B called me on April 1st and asked about photographing her wedding, I’ll be honest, I was afraid it was an April Fool’s Joke. Thank goodness it wasn’t, because this wedding was fabulous! I adored the yellow and red color scheme, the calm bride & groom, the easy-going (and HUGE) bridal party, and the adorable little flower girls and ring-bearers. Everyone involved in the day was kind and helpful. At one point, after being in the boiling hot sun for an hour, a bridesmaid handed me a water. So sweet! I am so thankful to have been a part of B & T’s wedding day and I am so honored to show the world their beautiful wedding day. B & T, thank you for trusting me to capture your memories.
This photo is about the dress and the ceremony room:

A little different spin on a ring shot:

Super sweet boys!

The final touches:

The fun groom & groomsmen:

I love this image my second shooter, Ashton Oakes, captured:

I told you the bridal party was huge!

One of my favorite moments is walking back down the aisle. :)

We went to the front of the James E. Bruce Convention Center and the light was just right for these next few photos.
I photograph the most stunning brides ever. Seriously, just look:

My grooms are so handsome too:

One of my favorites:

Reception time!

Thanks again to Ashton for this first dance photo:

As the sun was setting, I stole the Mr. & Mrs. for a few more pictures outside. The light was fantastic.

Last one:

As always, I will post more of their wedding on Facebook later. :)

103. That’s what the temperature reading said in my car on the way over to Riverside for this session. Wow! I truly believe that this was the hottest weather I’ve ever photographed in. However, C & L were such troopers! We all drank water and were only outside about an hour. So, all the moms can stop worrying. :)
I met C in film photography class this past spring and was elated when she asked about a session. She’s been married to L for a little over a year now and they are headed to the military ball tonight. She wanted pictures of her and L all dressed up before the ball. How fabulous is that?! Such a good idea. Tip for all the married folk out there: it’s a great idea to have professional photographs taken of just you two every now and then. You’ll cherish the images and remember that time in your lives.
It was so sweet to watch these C & L flirt and laugh like newlyweds! I promised teasers for them by the time they got back tonight, so here they are. :)

Love:

C has such a gorgeous laughing face! :) I had to post this:

Dancing:

Beautiful:

Handsome:

I really like her earrings! And of course I love this image even more because of the lens flare:

One more for tonight:

C & L, I hope you two are dancing the night away at the ball. :) Thanks for braving the heat with me. You two looked spectacular!
I hope everyone has a great night. I have a few more sessions to post and a wedding that is coming soon! Yah!!!
