Remember Ashley & Justin? They are now Mr. & Mrs.! Ashley was my college roommate and during one of our many late night chats, I confessed to her my dream of being a wedding & portrait photographer. I’m not sure if she remembers that conversation but she was the first person I had ever admitted that to. This conversation took place before she got engaged and she said something like, “Yes, you should and then you can take my wedding pictures!” It’s crazy to think that was just a few years ago and she has realized her dreams (she’s a nurse now and married! Yah!) and I am realizing my dreams. Below are a few of my favorites of Ashley & Justin’s wedding day! I’m going to post more on Facebook, so be sure to check there later tonight!

Ashley & Justin, thanks for everything. You guys are awesome and have been so kind to me! I’m so blessed to have friends like you two. Enjoy! :)

I wanted to have a contest before the holidays, but didn’t have the time, so I’m having one now! I’m a sucker for love so it’s actually better that I’m having the contest near Valentine’s Day! Okay, here’s the deal, all you have to do is e-mail me a picture of you and your significant other that you believe best describes your relationship. It can be funny, serious, or sappy! You can take the photo specifically for the contest or send me one from years ago. You can use props, your children, your animals, or it can just have the two of you in it. It’s totally up to you! Include a three to five sentence quote about what makes your love special. Your submission has to have a photo and a quote. Send both your names, how long you’ve been together, your photo and quote to photos@bethanyannphotography.com with the subject line “Valentine’s Contest”. I will take photos up until February 3rd.

After I’ve received the photos, I will post them here for you, your friends & family, and anyone else to vote for! The photo with the most votes wins. Voting will begin when I post the photos on February 4th and end on February 15th. I’ll post the winner on February 17th!

The photo with the most votes will win a free couple session with 25 images on a CD with printing rights.
The second place winner will receive 50% off a couple session.

Both prizes are valid for a year.

Last Sunday I had a Bridal Shoot for ClarksvilleBrides.com to show at the Bridal Show during the fashion show. We took the portraits at Magnoila House Bed & Breakfast and the dresses were provided by Something Blue Bridal Shoppe. Turning Point Productions Videography was also there shooting video of the models. The video from Turning Point Productions added a nice element of fun and flair to the fashion show. The models worked it on the runway yesterday as well as during our photo shoot last Sunday! Great job ladies! Below are my favorites of the Bridal Shoot. Enjoy!
