After I posted teasers of Lizzy’s Trash The Dress session, Ally e-mailed me about taking her Senior Photos there. Don’t get me wrong, finding new places to photograph is super fun and exciting. I love exploring new environments. However, in similar respects, I enjoy photographing at places I’ve been before because it forces me to be different. I try to find different spots to photograph and try to use different poses. Ally’s session was amazing. I felt like this was the first time I photographed at the train station and downtown Clarksville. (This was my second session at the train station and my gazillion session in downtown Clarksville! Well, not gazillion, but you get my drift. :) ) Ally is a natural beauty. And she has a likability that really shines through in these images. She was up for any strange pose I had and brought along fantastic accessories. She brought her grandfather’s hat and her grandmother’s ring. She also brought along bubbles! I loved it! We also scored big time when we discovered a bright yellow wall. Have I told you lately that I love bright colors? Cause I do, I really do. I bet I have about 150 RAW images of that spot right there. :) Anyway, Ally was such an inspiration to me on this photo shoot. I hope you all love these as much as I do. :)

Ally, you are fabulous and don’t ever change. (Wow! That sounds like something I would write in a yearbook! It’s fitting, considering she’s a 2011 Senior. Woo hoo!)

I just had to post these next few images. I told Ally to be serious:

Which is ALWAYS followed by laughter!

Bright yellow wall? Yes, please. Yellow paint chipping? Sure. Ally dancing? Absolutely!

Funny story: Apparently this bush/plant/tree/whatever-it-is below attracts bees. I didn’t realize it until this session, but thinking back on it, during Lizzy’s session, we ran away from a few of them then too. A bee started following me at the beginning of Ally’s session and I remember walking in circles saying I was trying to “confuse the bee.” Haha! Does that really work?! If not, I’m sure I looked really smart walking in circles holding a camera in my hand. LOL! The bee did eventually give up though. (Thankfully before I got too dizzy!) Then, what do I end up doing?! Putting Ally right beside the bush, and THEN discovering the bees were coming from there! Ally was a trooper though and no individuals, or bees, were harmed in the making of this:

I love red hair. I love Ally’s red hair! I want red hair. :)

I love how the bubbles mimic the way Ally is sitting:

Nikki & I went to school together and a few of my fondest memories of her are when we played the Clarinet in middle and high school. We sat side by side and would always gossip about everything under the sun. I also remember talking about cell phones and everything besides Physics in our Physics class our Senior Year. It’s hard to believe that it’s been four years since we graduated and Nikki is now the mother of a beautiful baby girl. Piper Rae was only a little over two weeks old when I took these photos and thanks to the invention of Facebook, I’ve been able to see how much she has grown since our session. She’s now two months old and even prettier than when we took these photos. Thank you, Barry & Nikki, for allowing me into your home to capture these sweet images of Piper Rae. :)

I adore this one:

I believe she had her eyes open looking at her parents in this image. I’m so happy I caught their expressions:

I think she’s going to grow up liking motorcycles:
